Dr. W. Donald Cooke MD FAAAAI is a graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He did a residency in Internal Medicine at UNM Hospital, and completed fellowship training in allergy and immunology at the State University of New York in Stony Brook, NY. Dr. Cooke did basic research in clinical immunology as well as patient care at the Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, Pennsylvania, before moving to Durango in 1995. He now does clinical work in pediatric and adult allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology.

Wendy Craig MA trained as a medical assistant at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and joined Dr. Cooke in 1995. Wendy oversees the immunotherapy (allergy shot) clinic and has 26 years of experience in allergy care.

Sandy Elliott joined the practice in 2022. As a Durango native, she enjoys outdoor recreation including hiking, gardening and kayaking as well as spending time with her family. She has two (almost) grown children who keep her busy. Sandy is a previous educator who brings a diverse set of skills with her and finds joy in helping others.

Jack Lusby BSB, ADN joined us in June 2023. He graduated from the University of Arkansas and completed his nursing education with Pueblo Community College. He enjoys hiking, trail running and skiing.

Abigail (Abbie) Tarr Cooke BSN, RN, RDH has been employed by the practice since 2008 and has a special interest in allergy advocacy and anaphylaxis preparedness in the schools. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/2377960819845246
